DUMC's Carnival 2003
~~~ANOTHER HAPPENING EVENT!!!!~~~
DUMC's CARNIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Date : 30 and 31st August (Saturday and Sunday)
Venue : DUMC....old Ruby cinema.
Just wanted to update you on what's happening at over the Merdeka weekend at DUMC. On those 2 days (30 & 31 Aug), apart from the games & food stalls that are being put up, these are the other things that will be taking place.
This event is organized by our community arm, Youth Excel Services, which seeks to create occasions for families to have a time of fun together.
We are also using this an opportunity for Christians & non-Christians to interact and play together. For eg, basketball teams must have at least one non-Christian in it. Maybe you can get your teams to participate as well.
Invitations will be sent out to homes of underprivileged children and some volunteer groups are taking it upon themselves to bring these children here.
If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor gifts or hampers, we would be very happy to receive them.
