Anyways... we had loads and loads of great fun activities lined up for you to get into the Christmas spirit :D

The Cookie and Carwash Project!!!!
Yes! And it's all for Charity :)

Christmas is about giving right? YES! So basically this C&C Project is about giving our effort and love to the people in need. We'll be baking cookies and also wash cars to raise funds and it all goes to charity :)

Here's is a little flashback at what we did last year :)

Oh! and we'll be needing helpers and volunteers :D We're in need of 20people to help out with the cookie baking and 10people to help out for the carwash. This will be held at Pauline's place (no.88, Jln ss 20/3 D'sara Kim) on the 15th and 16th of Dec :) For more details, please contact the numbers below. So spread some love this Christmas!!!

first off, for those of you not attending NSCFL 09 this year, there is also APYAC 09 taking place at Glad Tidings PJ.

what is APYAC?

well, APYAC is Asia Pacific Youth Alive Conference!

Well what is this?

it is a gathering of a gajillionfifillionmultibabillion people all to learn a thing or two about the importance of prayer and hear some pumping messages from ministers form around the world.

people from Australia,Japan,China,Indonesia, Korea(yaaay) and many more are gonna be attending this so its a must go! details on registration etc will be inthe next post:)

so what is this NSCFL?.. no, not Nasi Sambal Campur Fried Lettuce...its..

NATIONAL SCHOOL CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP LEADER'S CAMP!!

now, in God's eyes, we are all leader's being the salt and light of this world, so this camp is OPEN to any of you who are interested to attend.

This NSCFL camp is an annual camp organised by Scripture Union for youth of ages 13-19.
well, in a nutshell, it is a fantastic camp filled to the brim with awesome-ness. :D

this year's camp is from 23rd to the 28th of november. for further info, you can go and find Kin Hoe in 3 Dahlia!!

Hey Guys!!!

Holidays has begun!!!! It's only 1 week! so spend these 7 days wisely!!

Anyway... here's a little something collected from the internet :)

We know that 80% of the town of Meulaboh in Aceh was destroyed by the Tsunami waves and 80% of the people died. This is one of the towns that was hit the hardest.

But there is a fantastic testimony from Meulaboh. In that town are about 400 Christians.

They wanted to celebrate Christmas on December 25th but were not allowed to do so by the Muslim of Meulaboh. They were told if they wanted to celebrate Christmas they needed to go outside the city of Meulaboh on a high hill and there celebrate Christmas. Because the Christian desired to celebrate Christmas the 400 believers left the city on December 25th and after they celebrate Christmas they stayed overnight on the hill.

As we all know the morning of December 26th there was the earthquake followed by the Tsunami waves destroying most of the city of Meulaboh and thousands were killed. The 400 believers were on the mountain and were all saved from destruction.

Now the Muslim of Meulaboh are saying that the God of Christians punished us for forbidding the Christians from celebrating Christmas in the city. Others are questioning why so many Muslim died while not even one of the christians died there.

Had the Christians insisted on their rights to celebrate Christmas in the city, they would have all died. But because they humbled themselves and followed the advice of the Muslims they are all were spared destruction and can now testify of God's marvelous protection.

This is a testimony of the grace of God and the fact that as believers we have no rights in the world. Our right is come before God and commit our lives to Him. Our right is kneeling down before the Lord almighty and commit our ways to Him. He is our Father and is very capable to care for His children. Praise the Name of the Lord.
