Well, 2013 came and ran off and apparently we had to let 2014 in. Even though we all wanted 2013 to stay but these guys are punctual to the exact moment... :'( So a blessed and joyful new year too all you readers! (sorry for being 5 days late...) And to backtrack even further... blessed Christmas! :P
I think for all of us, 2013 was an interesting year. We all had our fair share of good times and bad times. We had our share of disappointments and happiness. We made new friends and sadly, might have lost a few. Maybe we met someone special or we grew to appreciate a handful of people more. We may have lost a loved one or found a long-lost relative. Along the way we may have found our destiny or maybe we feel even more lost at the end and the list goes on, and on...
But like every new year, its not just a time a reflect on the past but a time to celebrate the future. To celebrate the future knowing that no matter what happens God will be there for us. Helping us through the tough times and celebrating the joys of life with us. And no matter how dark and foreboding the future looks with its ever changing shape like shifting sands of time that never never look stable and strong enough to stand on, lets remember that God is always the same yesterday, today and forevermore and His light will break through that darkness!
With a new year, comes a new life! Whatever it means for you, most important of all it should be living a brand new life with Christ. So please, DO join us for CF this year as we learn about the Heartbeat of God and continue to meet and spur each other on to greater heights. After all, what's life without other people around... which is why its called... yeap you guessed it... Fellowship!!! And more than that as we continue to be a counter-culture and as we continue to glorify God in our school.
So, we'll be meeting every Wednesday from 1:45pm-2:45pm at the 5 Penaga class. Our first meeting will be this Wednesday, the 8th of January 2014. If you're already planning to join us do sign up quickly and along the way remember to drag a group of your buddies along. ;) If you're not decided yet, then hurry up coz we'll be having a great year ahead! And no, there are no entry requirements, no interview, no fees just bring yourself with an open heart and let God take care of the rest!
