DUCF's 2008 Location Introduction

A brand new year it is,
A brand new start for many.
DUCF also got new start xD 2008.

For starters, we'll be packing up our bags to move nearer to school.

We'll now be meeting at No 29, Jalan SS 20/13. It's on the same row as Suzanne's house, 2007's DUCF location.



The house is here is in the middle of the road of SS20/13, near a turning. If you got no eyes to see the map, you can find any of the committee to find out where =)

Here's a little introduction of this month

January will be the Month of Partying
this is the outline.

Jan 11 - Welcome Party!!
Jan 18 - Christmas Party!! - yes, we've never done this before =P
Jan 25 - Birthday Party!! [BB - Birthday Bash - celebrating birthdays from November to January =)]

The First CF will be the Welcome Party of course and it'll be

Time: 1 pm - 2 pm
Venue: Hannah's house [29, SS 20/13]
Theme: Welcome Party!
Tickets: FREEEE!!
What are we gonna do?: HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!! xD

Other than the fantastic CF we're going to have next friday, to the morning sessioners and enthusiastic afternooners, we have already started our DAWN PRAYER!!

This is a meaningful time where we gather every morning at the multipurpose court beside the KH labs there and pray. It's all about committing your entire day to God, thanking Him for everything and of course prayer. We pray about everything, from the government to Malaysia to the school to the teachers to the EXAMINATIONS. So do join us if you want to start your day on the right foot with God and your friends. Here's the specs:

Time: 6.45am to the moment the bell rings [better late then never]
Venue: Multipurpose Court, near the KH labs and the staircase
Tickets: FREEEE!!
Who can come?: you you and you =)

Here's the intro & history of this blog and SMKDUCF's plans for 2008

Welcome to Damansara Utama Christian Fellowship's Blog
This blog is the brainchild of Janning Lai, who was serving in the 2003-2004 committee. After that year, the blog decide to sleep for three years. On November 29th 2007, the 2008 committee decided to wake it up. so yeah =) welcome!!

So, you might be wondering, what does this blog function as?
1. This blog will act as a library of past events happening. Everybody will have a chance to view past weeks. For example, blur pots who can't remember what happened can take a look at the pictures [yes, there will be lots of pics] and read what happened. Other blur pots can also read up on the message if they missed out the points given by the speaker.

2. This blof will be used as a primary tool to connect all previous DUCF members, the current DUCF members and the future DUCF members. The previous members can get themselves updated with the latest happenings and come for the events we post up like our yearly 'Haps Night' event. The present members can read and let the memories flow. lol. Future DUCF members can view DUCF's activities and get to more about DUCF this way.

3. Other than that, this blog will also be used as a notice board to post up on the latest updates on DUCF. If you have an internet connection and you want to know if there is CF next week, you can check out this site for details. You can also use the shout out chat box for prayer requests and prayer needs. That way, everyone can pray with and for you. If you too 'shy', 'pai seh' or 'segan', you can send your prayer requests to smkducf@gmail.com. The committee will pray for you.

4. Besides that, this place can also a chilling place to hang out with your fellow DUCF buddies, read some useful (or wacky) posts, post a few comments and/or just kill time =)

5. This blog will also be a channel to spread God's word. If you are an author and you like to write sermons (or testimonies), feel free to contact us as well. A testimony is one of the best things you can share with others. In DUCF, we welcome all testimonies. Words of wisdom are mostly encouraged as well. Add pictures if you like. smkducf@gmail.com

There are just some of the functions that this blog will play for now. Of course, as it expands, we might have more functions and additional things added to the blog. For now, just enjoy this blog and have fun.

To all past, present and future SMKDUCF members, here's the plan for 2008.
We will be focusing on it for the year. Specifics will be updated on this post.

Welcome 2004

hey people...welcome to the new year... Back to school, and CF has started already... praise the Lord... It's by God's mercy and grace that CF is still here in our school today...though not registered..... Maybe we're not meant to be registered...there's a reason for everything God does and sometimes it's beyond our understanding... One thing is for sure, His ways and plans are always perfect and the best of the best...so let's not worry bout anything but to put everything into His hands, trust Him and have faith!!!!

Take note that there'll be no CF meeting this coming Friday (23rd Jan) because of chinese new year... Have fun and may the Lord continue to be with you...

Do come back to CF on the 30th...would like to see you guys there again!!! It's you who makes the CF goes on...and it's up to you to make the difference...

May you continue to burn and shine for Him....be a living sacrifice and a living examples... so that others may see Christ in you..... Live for Him and live a life that pleases Him... God bless and stay strong in your faith always!!!

A beginning

Hey there.... We have given all of you the form for your parents to sign in order to have the CF registered... Please remember to bring it back to CF next week and return it to us.. Thanks for all your support... And don't forget to pray!!! Pray that our CF would be officially registered...so that we can run more activities...!!

Bout this blog...not a lot of people know bout it yet... It's just the beginning. We will slowly put up more and more notices and updates for all of you... Hoping you all would drop by often. Please do sign at the 'shout out' thinggy, any questions, comments, or just to say 'hi' would be fine to let us know you're dropping by now and then... Thanks..!!! =)
